I use Enterbrain's RPG Maker XP to develop my game. RPG Maker is a complex and powerful editing environment; it is generally very stable, but it does have a couple (very minor) bugs. If you encounter one of the following problems, I cannot provide tech support.

*Occasionally, sound effects are played at a lower volume than intended.

*Occasionally, sound effects are played from somwehere in the middle of the sound file instead of from the beginning (meaning if there's a sound effect that goes "da-dimp", occasionally you will only hear the "dimp" part)

*Very occasionally, the keyboard's arrow keys get stuck; no matter what you do, your characters on the screen will only move down, or left, or whatever. This also effects navigating the menu, so it can become a bit difficult to save and quit the game as the cursor will move wildly through the menu. The only solution I have found is to exit the game and restart your computer.
